GoDemics’ lighting and VFX artists worked on lighting half of the campaign missions that shipped with MWR1, as well as on (sandbox) gameplay effects. Our VFX artists worked on most of the gameplay effects that included weapon effects, impacts, explosions, ambient env effects, weather effects, and destruction simulations for use in-game. Our lighting artists were responsible for character lighting, environment lighting, HDR lighting calibration, post processing, color grading, and shepherding the technical aspects of the material/shading pipeline, ensuring fidelity, PBR implementation, etc.
