Why?
Provide Slingshot with AAA quality VFX that would represent the Marvel’s Spider Man IP to standards expected of Disney
Provide visual feedback and aesthetically pleasing VFX to the audience attending Disney parks
How?

Technology
We used a combination of both Cascade and Niagara for execution of effects with Unreal Engine
Blueprint used for implementation of effects
Niagara is still very early in its life, so we used the more experienced Cascade system to supplement and fill holes where Niagara failed to achieve production needs

We were tasked with creating stylized gameplay VFX consisting of:
Impact effects
Explosions
Destructibles and general destruction
Energy bursts
Fluids and goo
Lasers
Magic spells
